Phono/RCA
RCA connectors, also called Phono connectors, the come in different colors, depending on the use, they can be found in a male or female version:
If used for transporting audio, they can only be used for unbalanced audio.
When used for audio distribution the color is:
Red is for right audio channel
White is for Left audio channel
When used for video
Yellow is for composite video
Orange for S/PDIF digital audio
When you look at the connector, it has a ground shield, and a pin for signal, it is illustrated in the picture below
