If you are going to take a test, like Avixa CTS, CTS-I or CTS-D you are not allowed to bring anything with you to the test, but on the computer you can use a virtually calculator. There is a setting that is very important to setup before you start using this calculator, in this guide I will show you how you can practice from home, before gonig to the test center.

You have access, for free, to an onlnie test, at PearsonVUE's site and there you can find the exact same calculator, in this guide I will show you how to set it up.

Go to pearsonvue.com/avixa

 

Scroll down and click on Pearson VUE demo test

Wait for the test to load

Click on Next to continue. (in the lower right corner

Click yes to start the test

Click on Next until you get to question number 3. (in the lower right corner)

In the top left corner, click Calculator

Make sure that you have chosen Scientific calculator

Click on the mode button

You should now get the settings window

Press the down arrow 3 times, to select the lower line.

Press the Enter key to select Classic

Now the calculator is set to Classic

Press the Clear key to go out of the settings menu
